No, there's only one sandwich plate. It goes hook, unibody, plate. The plate is threaded with the bolt being screwed into it.

92 xj on 235/75/15's. $2000 into a $400 dollar jeep.

These are the tow hooks that you need to install on your ZJ. As mentioned it is a unibody, it is HIGHLY recommended that you get tow hooks that have the plate for added strength.

Lower front control arms

Well last night after much hesitation I decided to do my control arms.
I got a pair of "doorman" brand ones. It was hard but doable. All on my back, and I'm hurting this morning.

The difference is noticeable. Turn in is crisp and I got feeling back from the front end already. I plan to do the upper once I a week or so, though upon visual inspection they look ok. 16 years though can take its toll on bushings.

That was last night. Last week I fixed my mirrors, they kept wondering around. I have the limited edition with memory. I fixed my heated seats too.

Next I've got to do upper control arms and rear ones. Bushings all around and use some ATP-Reseal to try to get the rear main seal stop leaking. Though it never drips .

Here is how one bushing looked like.

That's it, cheers

Where do you order those from?

Money doesn't buy happiness, but it buys a Jeep. And I ain't ever seen a sad person in a Jeep!!

My experience with the factory tow hook brackets is that they bend way to easily.

I have seen one set get bent, but it was from a hard sideways pull. And regardless, I'd rather bend the hooks than the Jeep!

Finally got the passenger swaybar link tightened down. Had to beat on it because the ball joint kept spinning, but now she doesn't pop anymore. Whoo victory!
