New tires today. Bridgestone Dueler APT. I might be taking them on the trail tomorrow... Only if it rains.

I got my budget boost it just needs to find it's way under the Jeep instead of in the backseat. That will be tomorrow's project.

Congratulations! She will come around. My wife let me buy a 2nd Jeep while we were on our honeymoon because we almost rolled it offroading the week before. While on our honeymoon we went on an offroad rally at Selvatica in RZRs, now she wants to buy one of them or a four wheeler!

Are you sure your axel is centered when your trying to connect it, and is your full vehicle weight on the axel? You may need to compress the springs slightly on order make up the 3/4 of an inch. Otherwise they could have sent the wrong one...

Never thought of that. Every thing is out of the front other than the control arms. Weight is off. Thanks for that.

... Get an adjustable trac bar if you want to be dead on for axle centering... I'm at 2" lift and stock trac bar and the axle is a little bit to the drivers side but I'm not too worried about it. As long as it doesn't look too weird or cause death wobble then I'm fine...

Ot: greased up the front driveshaft double cardan ball/bearing thing in the middle there 'cus it was squeaking. Reset and tack welded the bushings on the front drivers lower control arm... And filled it up at $2.95 a gal.

Put everything on your axel, connect the track bar, Pittman arm tie rod, and shocks last... Wish I could help! Good luck bro.

Thanks for the tip. Gonna finish the front up tomorrow. And I have another question. Steering stabilizer shouldn't be able to be compressed or extended with vary little effort by hand should it?

It should take a decent bit of effort to compress / extend the stabilizer, but it's certainly possible to do by hand.

Meaning that gravity could do the work when you turn it up or down... Ya... Basically it's a hydro shock absorber...

Okay. It's not super easy to do like my shocks were. There's plenty of resistance both ways. Ill put it back on.

It should feel pretty much like a shock. It's fine if it takes little effort to compress, as long as it doesn't compress any faster with lots of effort.

I just drove it. I have had several weeks of trouble free daily drive. I need to flush transmission and change fluid in difs and tc. All on my to do list. She is behaving real good lately.
