Well, on monday, I did a little puddle jumping with my buddies (4 guys in my jeep). Well, whenever I hit a big bump, I would hear a pop coming from the rear, sometimes two. Didn't find out what it was until today. At school, when I went and got gas and some lunch, whenever I made a sharp turn or got in or out of it, I would hear a bad squeak. Well, I got under there just now and moved the suspension up and down and narrowed it down to the area around the left rear shock. I thought the shock had gone bad. But then I see that the corner of the gas tank skid plate has the trackbar bolt hooked like a fish. So I cut the corner off. I'll probably clean it up this weekend, just a temp. fix for now. You can see how the skid was getting pulled down and the paint chipped.

Oh, and yesterday, A guy came in to AAP in a cherokee that was having electrical problems. He bought some battery cables, and said he knew he would need a jump. So I pulled my jeep around and ended up jumping him twice. I checked the battery and the tester said it was dead. So I sell him a battery, and he comes back about an hour later and he says his alternator was dead (difficult to test the whole charging system with a dead battery, which is why I couldn't tell him that before.)

I tried to take a quick pic, thats why its blurry, lol.

Next topic: my 2 week old BWD TPS caused my CEL to come back on, yet again. I guess mopar parts only from here on out. At least I was able to defect it out, along with my ****ty a/c bypass pulley that I've had laying around for a month or two.

I put one in my 95 4.0... All I needed was to find some wires from the ignition in the steering column and splice the module in. I don't have the security system in it so I didn't have to worry much about that.

Just make sure everything goes where it's supposed to, that way your not frying anything...

I think I'm going to have a shop do it. I'm comfortable with 12v electrical systems lights, switches, relays, audio ect but I just don't feel up to par on it yet

OT just put the last coat of clear on the wiper arms. Look pretty good. Probably next spring ill re do them. Have them sand blasted. This was kinda just spurr of the moment thing. Look good untill you look real close. Some dirt specs in it and runs and uneven spots. But looks alot better.

It looks like your rear control arms are installed backwards. The bent side goes on the axle side. The pic makes it appear that the bent side is on the body side.

Mine did the same thing. I dealt with it for a little while then bent it out of the way. I was going to use a saws all on it but only had long blades. I wasn't going to buy a short blade for a quick cut

I wish my iPhone worked as well as either one of my ZJs. I thinks it's the one with the parasitic drain.

On topic: had to jump it before and after work. Time to get a new battery!

Mom and dad told me they will buy me shocks and spacers for my birthday. Going to get some paint and primer. Paint the factory snow flakes gun metal gray. Get some new lug nuts and chrome valve stem covers and stuff these 265/70/16 I think they are with no lift and factory rims with no spacers. Obviously I wont wheel it like that.
