today i watched the bf park it in the drive way and then the dog run around it and smashed his face into the front hooks welded onto the frame.. amusing...to say the least.

Took it wheeling some more. Got it stuck in 2WD just to see how it'd feel. I was actively trying to get it stuck. Then I put it in 4WD and it just crawled out. Now I've got a squeaky noise when I hit bumps. Gonna check on that this weekend, and rebuild my cabin light switch.

Today, while I was leaving work, my supervisor, a 57 year old man with a Dodge Grand Caravan decided to rev up his engine and lay a nice little patch in the parking lot. Todd4198 then lit up his rear tires with his GTO. I decided since I can't do that, I'd do a sideways crawl over a pretty large parking block. I ended up bashing my rear diff on the parking block pretty hard. Luckily, nothing cracked, dented, or broke. Lesson learned? Probably not.

I used to work with guys like that. My bit was parking on top of the snow drift piled up from clearing the parking lot. By mid-winter inf FBKS it was about 6-8 feet tall. Maybe more. I'd do the same thing when I would go to school. Surprised the university cops-in-training didn't give me a ticket for it. God knows they were frustrated from not catching up to me for speeding tickets.

Haha. A couple years ago, I had the university police chase me off the top of the parking garage in the winter. They always block it off during the winter because they don't plow it up there. Well, I decided to move the barricade and take the ZJ up there. 3 foot plus snow banks? No problem. I was over by the edge of the building and I saw 3 university police flying in with their 2 wheel drive Explorer, a Colorado, and an Impala. I figured none of them could get me on the roof but I'd have nowhere to run. I quickly descended the parking garage and fled. I was lucky enough to have all 3 of them on a different side when I was on my way down so we didn't cross paths. When I got out, one was trying to pull out of the garage to come get me but gave up. I had a class in an hour so I had a little time to kill. I probably went and got some food somewhere and then went back to school. I always parked in the garage; it was no different for that class. I parked back in the garage after being chased out of it. I was certain I'd have a ticket of some sort on my Jeep when class was said and done. I was almost disappointed to see nothing on it.

I've used the Energy Suspension 2.3103 fronts and 2.3104 rears on a 98 I had years ago. They were a great replacement for the stock ones. I am about to get the front kit for my TSi. Keep in mind that the black ones are graphite impregnated, while the red ones are not.

Edit www.energysuspensionparts.com has the kit for about $70
