This seems to be a nice replacement for the stock unit but there were a couple issues when mounting it. Hopefully my headaches will help out someone else.

First: the original passenger side mounting bolt is too small for the new track bar bushing. If you follow the directions as stated and use the factory fasteners to re-install the new track bar I suspect you would get a serious case of death wobble as the track bar moved around that smaller bolt. Scary.

Second: The hole in the original passenger side mounting bracket is too small for the larger bolt that comes with the kit.

Solution: Drill baby Drill! Bought a half inch soft metal drill bit from AutoZone and made the holes bigger in the bracket.

Everything slid together easily after that.

Banged on the steering dampener a few more times and sprayed it with PB AGAIN!

I may be old and gray before that b*tch decides to come out.

Hopefully can get the rear lifted on wednesday and get my tires mounted. Will post pics when done.
My rc adjustable tb did not fit in the bracket at the upper driver side. Cone drill bit fixed that problem. Drilled it just a little shy of "fitting" and let the air ratchet tighten the rest to make sure I didn't wallow it out too much.

Took my front bumper cover off. Don't know if I like it yet but my cover was REALLY faded so at least I don't have to look at that anymore. Found a little damage on the passenger side as I already suspected from that light being newer. Not bad at all you can tell where somebody "straightened" it out.

Why not spend 15 dollars or so on some krylon fusion gloss black to make it look good?

BOOM

Also picked up a nitto terra grappler a/t for a spare for $20. Has a little dry rot, but has real good tread left and no plugs. Just a little dirty, but nothing a pressure washer cant fix.

So I picked these up around noon, right? Well, me and my neighbor brought them back to our spot and leaned them up against the concrete wall that was behind the trailer (as you can see in the pic). I had more interest in the tires the last couple hours we were there than anything else I was selling, and we got so many reactions from people while we were bringing them back (had to walk all the way across a race track). And with all the comments and reactions I already get with my jeep without the "monster truck" tires (what my sister called them when she saw them), I swear this thing's gonna be a panty dropper by the time I'm done with it.

I ended up not finding a blue sharpie. But I was going to take paint thinner to get the orange off.

Forgot to mention this before, but I went to Dunkin Donuts before the swap meet. When I got there at like 6:00, there was a cop sitting outside (lol). But I didn't think anything of it. So I walk in, and he walks in about 30 seconds after me and he says "thats a nice jeep you got out there" So im like thanks. He says hes got a wrangler on 35's, and asked me if I did any wheeling around here, and I said no, not really, and hes like "yeah, theres basically no where to wheel around here." Why couldn't this have been the cop that pulled me over 2 weeks ago, or rather DIDN'T pull me over

Worked out the lift a bit, got her properly dirty

Scott got himself real stuck in a mudpit next to a hill. Put the Rodeo into neutral, grabbed my tow chain, put the ZJ in 4Lo and let it idle forward. Up the hill with 4,000lb of Japanese SUV stuck in the mud behind it. Never even touched the gas.

Replaced the transmission oil cooler lines. Found out why it was leaking. Like the valve cover, the lines going into the radiator were finger tight. The metal connection going into the radiator from the tranny must have blown at some point. They broke off the end, pushed the hose up higher on the bare metal tube, and cinched it down tighter. Whole bunch of broken plastic pieces behind it, and the mounting clips from the electric fan are missing. Time to hit the junk yard! Gotta make a laundry list for tomorrow before I go there.

Also bled out as much of the old brake fluid as I could. The color is a bit lighter that it was, and I bled them until I stopped getting particles out with the fluid.

I got stopped one time in my pickup pulling a company trailer with no tag. Cop was cool, bs'd with me for awhile about my truck and the lil tweaks I've done to it, then gave me a ticket and said "give this to your boss" moral of the story...... A cop is a cop. They all got a job to do.
