I should prolly go out there and see where it's coming from... TBH, I don't know where the water pump is on the 4.SLOW.
Should be connected to the pulley with the fan sticking out of it. At least thats where it is on my 5.2

Some stuff, alot actually,I get at a junkyard. More often its very expensive parts if I bought them new. Pcm's, power seat tracks, abs modules,or any other modules, mostly to have as spares or I think the sourcing is on the way out. But, you are also pulling something twice to achieve your goal. Some junkyards are hell holes to work in,or at the very least life risking with the way they have some of the vehicles supported. Plus you have to test it,clean it up,blah blah. So if I am looking for a part I weigh all that.

So if I at that particular point doint feel like laying in the blazing mosquito infested sun to get a twenty dollar part I just buy it new usually OEM. So I can see the guys point in a way.Just,"getting what you pay for" for a dipstick tube is kinda extreme cause its just a tube. He may just feel the same way as I said above. Cut him alittle slack, lol.

Yup! Don't have the time nor desire to mess with someother ride...I got 3 of my own that all need my love. And why track down a tube in a yard(if I can avoid it) just to probly have the same problem getting it out? Don't get me wrong ill do what I gotta do but the key words were "try to avoid it"

Found a tube.....at a jy......I called in advance cuz its an hr away(they all are in my area) they said its seized in there pretty good but they'll try to get it out for me......that's my kinda yard! I told them to be carefully cuz mine did not come out, an inch of it got shipped of with the core! We'll see what happens when I get the call. Off to the dealership for the oil filter fitting now!

You're talking about a dipstick tube?

Had my ac line rebuilt and went to install it only to find out they made it like 5" too long You would have thought they would have measured it before just putting a new hose on. If I could even get it to bend enough to install it, the hose would be touching the header. Nothing like driving across town for the third time.

Pulled my hub off, bought new axle nut and caliper guide pins now I have to take the hub off of a friends front end and sway them due to a toasted wheel bearing. Also installed a teraflex lift in my bosses jk

I reinstalled a new pcv elbow and grommet, and rear broken pcv tube. Works better than the duct tape.
