well I'm thinking I need a new tv cable, it was shifting weird only out of first but I definitly noticed a loss in throttle response, so i adjusted it and the clip was half broken, guessing from PO. and the cable wouldn't come all the way center so I got it close as possible and now it won't shift out of first or second until about 2800-3000 rpms and shifts hard unless I'm giving it more throttle. think I may need a whole new cable, any help please? also attempted to tint the headlights, looked cool but light didn't shine through for crap so I scrubbed it off with paint thinner

trial and error

keep trying with the cable it took me 15 tries to figure it out the first time i did it on my zj

i was flipping out but the members here helped me out a lot

adjust it by feel not by sight

it should shift smoothly when you want it too

so you need to tune it that way 1/2's of millimeter's at a time adjust it untill you think it feels good

You install this yourself? What year is your jeep? I'm looking to install one in mine as well..

OT: Figured I'd drive it to work today since I haven't driven it in almost a month.. Almost time to put the car away & make this my DD for the winter.

Picked it up at autozone for 82 with Ohio tax.took about an hour to wire up. Just honna splice into wires in the ignition harness running up the steering wheel. The one I picked up is made by bulldog security. Btw she's a 1996 Laredo. Good luck lol

Mark the TV cable with some nail polish or if you don't use nail polish then some red paint or something. At least that way you can establish a measurement for how much you are moving it and from what point.

I love that place! Jus got a vibration dampener and tranny line from them. Got here in like 2 days!, but I'm real close to Tampa.

OT: installed water pump and intake, ordered some cast aluminum "jeep" valve covers from summit!

It was actually yesterday, but I spent 12 hours breaking myself for this:

2.25" Skyjacker lift

The death wobble was exciting, to say the least.
