I stuck up for it... Well, it, all ZJs, and apparently all Jeeps with plastic on them.

Brown Santa left me some presents today

Before:

After:

255/75/17 and they don't rub yet. And they finally fill up the wheel wells.

Yup. Just thought about that. It's in the "Thunderdome" which requires registration. Oh well. You'll just have to take my word for it.

255/75/17 (~32x10.5) I'm not lifted yet. Skyjacker 2.25" BB on its way. I plan on running smaller tires so I don't rub so much, but that'll wait for January when I can afford it.

And Bananaslug, I plan on hitting the cladding with some Gunmetal Plastidip this weekend. More pics as they come.

As soon as I hit a pothole, I'm sure my day will be ruined, but maybe I'll just avoid them until the lift arrives

Just did an oil change and added restore 6 cylinder formula plus cap rotor and plugs, power yes, fuel mileage yes, happy jeep guy? YES! It runs so quiet and smooth now! Plus I covered the whole exhaust in 1500 degree black paint, everything is slowly comin together! Next is wj
intake manifold with ford v8 four port injectors. Building the motor since I can't lift it yet, works for me! (Real lift, not the budget boost that's on it)

Today my ZJ received a set of Prothane polybushes in the rear control arms and one end of the track rod (couldn't get the bolt undone at the axle end!). The front ones were done months ago. I'm glad I did it because I found that the bushes on the lower arms were badly perished and on the front bush of the left lower the whole metal sleeve had become detached from the arm. As the polybushes re-use the metal sleeves, I gave it a good hammering to make sure that it stayed put.

The whole back end feels better now, although I noticed that it could do with a new set of rear brake pads.

As soon as I can find a WJ intake manifold I shall do the same.
