Went from roughly 6 year old RE 3.5 springs to brandy new 4.5in IRO springs! How much of this stance should I expect to lose after the springs settle?

any suggestions???
I would replace front and rear diff fluids, transfercase fluid, change oil/filter, replace air filter, replace spark plugs, sparkplug wires and cap and rotor. Adjust throttle valve cable (it probably never has been done, search on the forum the info is everywhere). Obviously check steering/suspension components and brakes. As for lifts dont go cheapy cheap because you will end up spending a lot in the end. It also depends on how much lift you want. The cheapest is to go with a 2in BB, replace shocks and buy adjustable trackbars if you want. With this you can clear 31's but 30.5's look good as well. I have an IRO (Iron Rock Offroad) 3.5" lift with fully adjustable everything (control arms, trackbars) and with how much i spent on all of that stuff i could have went 5.5" on long arms. So if you want a little bigger i would honestly save up and get a 5.5" long arm lift with this you can easily clear 33's but many people run 35's.
That is just my opinion.
Also welcome to the forum!
Here is this for future reference.....http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f13/z...u-post-880249/

On Topic: Changed oil and filter also performed a tire rotation.

I just measured an even 25" from hub to fender both front and back. And that's a very rough measurement. It's not on level ground and I was in the dark. That sound right?

This doesn't really pertain to my ZJ, but my wife and I traded in our 2012 Cruze for a 2010 Terrain. We needed something bigger for the baby. Her stroller was stuck in the trunk and the car seat was a PITA to get in and out. The dealership ended up buying the Cruze for the payoff amount, threw in free tint, a free remote start, a free Bluetooth upgrade, and best of all, honored the incorrect price of $20,900 we were originally quoted past week when they were asking $23,900. All in all, we ended up not going upsidedown in the Cruze and got something bigger with just 3k more miles. It sucks getting rid of the first brand new car we've ever "bought," but the new vehicle is pretty nice.

I removed the headlight control and resoldered the connector joints in order to resolve flickering/intermittent dash light problem and fog lamps not working problem. The job was not difficult but had to remove dash, knee block panel, and other trim to remove the assembly (time consuming). All is well with the world, for the moment. Other issues to attack are rear wiper motor replacement, and auto dim mirrors not working. I think wiper motor will be next on my agenda.

I need to heat up the solder joints in my dimmer switch. I have taken the dash apart so many times I can probably do it in my sleep.

Took my valve covers off to put in new gaskets cause they were leaking. Half the ****in bolts were only on finger tight.

While I had the covers off, I cleaned them up and painted them.

Have been thinking about center console ideas and will probably do it this winter. I almost want to see if I can take the 40 part of the 60/40 bench. And put it on the 60 side and have the console go all the way to the back seat.
