Making a winch plate as a bumper base. 4" C-channel and plate from Speedymetals.com -$40 shipped. Winch plate from harbor freight -$44. So for less than $100 I'll have a stronger than snot winch plate.

Just getting an IDE here, going to see how much I can trim and recess the winch plate.

Fixing the holes in my floor boards today.

94 Grand Cherokee 5.2 33in. Federal Couragia M/T's on Procomp Steelies, np231 swap, IRO Hack n Tap SYE, Carolina Driveshaft, 4.5 in. lift, RE front upper/rear lower ca's, RC front lowers, Ironman rear uppers, IRO 4.5 coils in rear, 3.5 and 2" bb (no isolators) in front, Bilstein 5100's, Clayton/JKS adj. track bars, KOR rad support and SS, Magnaflow/Flowmaster exhaust, clear corners, custom light bar w/ Hella 500's

Parked it beside the first orvis I've seen in person. I felt slightly embarassed, followed by jealousy. The owner caught me lookin at his suspension and said is that your jeep beside me? Why is it lower than mine?

95 Laredo 4.0, 2" RE BB, RC N2.0 Shocks, Custom Roof-Mount Light Bar w/ 6 lights, Bumpers deleted, Homemade sway bar discos, Michelin LTX 31x10.50s, and a Dog Box :)
Planned: Homemade Spare tire carrier, double shear front track bar, 4 adjustable rear control arms, New Rims and 33" Wrangler MT/Rs or BFG M/T KO's w/ LOTS of trimming.

Picked up two built axles off CL:

HP D30: ARB, 4.56s, WJ brakes, OTK steering, molly shafts, came with ARB compressor, lines and switches.

D35: Detroit, Super 35 kit (30 spline), 4.56s

Those look like crap IMO. I don't even think you can get scrap value for those. You can bring them to my house and I will get rid of them for you.

4"x1.78"x1/4". I'm boxing it all in and adding a receiver. The winch plate sits at exactly the same height as the RC winch mount, just more easily engineered.
