tossed on some rough country shocks and a tenneco heavy duty stabilizer. such a smooth ride compared to the ORIGINAL shocks and steering stabilizer... that were fifteen years old.
also took her for a test drive on the local field and did some doughnuts in the field dirt to "test the suspension" even though i already know damn well how the suspension feels.
good day for the ZJ

So I've been working on my Laredo all week in hopes of having it trail ready yesterday, which came and went... Finally finished it up this morning, filled her up with trans fluid and attempted to drive it. 1400 rpms to even move it and a check engine light, it didn't have a light when I parked it 3 months ago... Add some trans treatment and 3 more quarts, which brought it back up to the full line again. Finally, I got it to drive ok (limp mode) and safely made it to advance to read the codes. Its Sending a P0713 and P0711, trans temp sensor high and not performing. Any ideas?

Had that problem on the trails once, something had reached up and unplugged a sensor on the side of the tranny. Plugged it back in all was and is well. Check you connections.

I just went out and re checked all trans connections and they are good and clean. I am thinking that i either bumper the sensor and broke it while re-installing my pan, or perhaps it has something to do with my rear )2 sensor. They share a common ground through the PCM.

The only reason why i think the O2 Sensor is because while i was welding my new exhaust hanger in place i accidentley struck the O2 sensor with the stick a few times... At least it was disconnected. The Mil is giving me a 12, and 55 without even starting which would be normal after a battery disconnect. Then a 45 after start, this code is not in the list lol..

Monstaliner project is done... Re-painted the rear bumper cover, side mirrors, & rocker trim with some satin black, then put it all back together... Still have 2 inner fender-wells to cover with some satin black Chassis Saver... Here's the final outcome, came out pretty good if I may say so

Thanks, I think it came out well for my first time... I was hoping the color was a little darker, but it's growing on me. I like the AT2's myself, couldn't really test them out last winter as we didn't have much snow & I drove something else most of the winter. Hopefully I can see how well they really work this winter. Best tires I've EVER had in snow were the Trxxus M/T I had on my Wrangler.

Just ordered a set of procomp steelies from 4 wheel parts. Less than $200, I think today might be their last day of buy 3 get 1 free, that's why I bought them now. That, and now I will have them when it comes time to buy tires.

Shouldve mentioned this before, but I'm having a little trouble replacing the u-joint on my front driveshaft. I got the old one out, but after I put the new one in, it was extremely stiff when I tried turning it. I took it out to make sure one of the needle bearings didn't get dislodged or anything, and it turned freely. Started hammering it back in, and it was still turning freely. After it was all the way back in, its real stiff again. Now I'm thinking I bent one of the ears from banging on it. Anybody have any other ideas?
