Didn't do a write up but it's simple. Take out the old Vic. Take it apart, trace the cover piece that screws to the box on to a piece of sheet metal and cut it out and drill holes to screw it back in. Also gutted the box to fit the wires and switches hit it with flat black paint and it looks factory

Yours looks a lot better than mine. This one was a mock up that ended up staying. I will probably redo it when I get around to it. I left the back of the VIC also.

Got pulled over. The cop said it was because someone had been calling in saying I went through their neighborhood on a regular basis and looked suspicious. Apparently a college age kid driving to college is suspicious these days..

Drive it around the block to keep things operating. Took the day off waiting for fed ex and UPS, along with the Steel supply delivering my sheet of 3/16 and 1/4 steel. Good $300 spent but that should cover the bumper build, gas tank and transfer case skids, and possibly get the rear bumper build started.

Finally got my hack n tap sorted out, however while I was tightening the bolt, it broke. Tried an extractor but I think the red loc tite had already set in. So I just welded it on there. I'll probably regret that down the road, but for now I dont give a ****. Still have a vibration, though. Probably because the guys that shortened my driveshaft didn't re-balance it.

Got all of the first coat of my monstaliner project done... Gonna let it sit inside overnight, then lightly scuff it before I do another coat. Here's a pic I took while I took a break.

From my last outing, I destroyed my front axle, ring/pinion gear and sungears all chewed up. I was thinking that I would be spending ~1500 on a hp30 w/ gears and stuff. I looked on craigslist for fun and saw this beauty.

1998 5.2L 115K
VERY little rust. I dont know how in mn.
I had to get it.

Got a nice blank slate to work with. Gotta swap lots of parts over from the 94.

I think it was a very good day.

Does your sye have a double cardan joint on it. If not your pinion angles probably arent exact. If they are just 2* off in either direction you will get a vibration

Here is this just incase you have no idea what i am talking about...
