I changed my transfer case fluid today. NP249 filled with some synthetic ATF+4, took 1.5qts. The plugs are 30MM by the way. The old stuff looked pretty good but had at least 40k on it.
Also fixed a bunch of rattles in my dash. The dealership fixed a short in the dash wiring harness a few years ago and managed to break a bunch of stuff which was rattling around. The mount was broken off the fuse panel and I'm missing all the light bulbs related to the ashtray, the tray itself and the plug light. I need to buy the trim piece that runs across the top of the cluster and radio, it's all busted up.
Get that ish dried out! If not, a rusted floorboard is in your future. Although a pia, I recommend pulling the carpet and letting everything dry out.
Due to a bad sunroof the carpet and headliner is already gone and the passenger side floor board has a few golf ball sized holes. Seats are shot so not worried about it. Plus I've had so much mud and water in it its only a matter of time before the floorboards are going to have to be replaced anyway.
Debadged, took out cargo carpet and all plastic trim so I can run monster cable for my jl speakers and 2 15" kicker l7's that come in tomorrow along with my "lift it up fat chicks can't climb" sticker for the rear window, "take it out and play with it" for the front
**** i cant believe i did this. was putting in the new pass side hatch strut and the holes were stripped so i was putting in some self tappers and they were a hair to long and drilled through the outside and put a hole :banghead: so now im roaming car-part for a new hatch. mine has a decent amount of rust too..i was looking at swapping hatches in the future but not for this reason lol. how hard are they to swap? just as easy as a cherokee?

Got my $500 '94 ZJ to fire up today (after replacing the fuel pressure regulator and starter). The Chrysler 318 sounds awesome and took me back to my younger days when muscle cars ruled. I can't get it to idle yet, but I'm still smiling like a little kid with a new toy.
