I've been seriously considering that. Leather just has no perks really, cold in the winter, hot in the summer.

Pb Blaster is your friend. I didn't break any bolts off in mine. Junkyard I did. That didn't bother me. Used half in impact at home. Half in breaker bar at the junk yard. So easy to do and do worth it. Up next is Laredo door panels.

To be honest, I'm contemplating this all now. The jeep doesn't see interstate, I have a Grants steering wheel in the garage, and frankly I think air bags could be a bad thing on the trails.

And today I am upgrading the factory horns to something a little deeper and louder.

Air bags are deployed measuring deceleration not impact. I don't know of anyone having their airbag deployed hitting something going slow on a trail.

Tagged and disconnected all electrical, vacuum, cables and hoses. Moved Ac and power steering pump out the way. Removed drivers side exhaust manifold, the other side is covered with a cluster ?@(% of Ac lines! Looks like a roller coaster ride!! That side will jus have to come off when the motor is out. Heres my daily before and after shots......
