Perhaps Sunday on my way back. This time I'm going straight up 77 to 80/90 then 75 into Detroit.

The trip was already planned, I'm just making the most of the drive.

I wish there was a way to set the jeep up to turn the headlights off when you shut the ignition off !!
My head hurts a little now after reading that but there is a way to make sure the lights turn off when the ignition is off with some creative wiring. Find the power wire to the headlight switch. Remove it and run a new wire that ties in to one under the steering column that only has power when the ignition is "on". Look for the blue 12 gauge wire with a gray tracer. That will give you power only when the ignition is on and shut off your lights when you shut off the key. If you wanted to get fancy, you could add a daylight sensor that will turn them on and off automatically. That would be a fun wiring job.

First stop: Charleston WV, J and J salvage, 2 98 ZJs... Walked with only a $10 key fob, leather was a bit too rough in the seat.

Replaced my worn out auto locker in the rear of bruiser, now mini spooled. Found out how important a good diff cover is on the last trip. Wet rocks and a slipping rear makes for some extra throttle lol.

Just left the Akron Ohio pull a part, found a 242 shift guide and bezel. Plus trailer master tow bar mounts/brackets, now I don't need an after market bumper right away!
