I jsut went through putting a new track bar and stabelizer on had to take teh center link of and take it to a machine shop to get it off but I replaced it with a gaberial it's a lot biggger than the original one and put a red boot on it too, replaced the trackbar autozone wanted over 120.00 for a track link bar I went to NAPA and got the same one for 69.00 put that on and now was told I need new lower bal joints so I got all 4 upper and lower for 40.00 and got a neighber that will put them on for me for 150.00 and I now need to have the drivers side motor mount replaced I picked one of those up too for 46.00, today I went tothe store to pick up some medicine I inadvertantly left my lights on and I came out of the store 20 minutes later realized what I had done I tried to start her up and nope battery was too far dead! the battery was 1 year old, I have a new 200amp alternator on her that was put on in Nov. called my roommate and he came out and gave me a jump. went to autozone to have the battery checked out and their testers were broken so they decided to jsut go ahead and exchange the battery with a slightly better one the old one was a 800CCA with a 750 reserve and the new one is a 800CCA with 1000 Reserve. so hopefully I won't have this problem again.
I wish there was a way to set the jeep up to turn the headlights off when you shut the ignition off !!
My head hurts a little now after reading that but there is a way to make sure the lights turn off when the ignition is off with some creative wiring. Find the power wire to the headlight switch. Remove it and run a new wire that ties in to one under the steering column that only has power when the ignition is "on". Look for the blue 12 gauge wire with a gray tracer. That will give you power only when the ignition is on and shut off your lights when you shut off the key. If you wanted to get fancy, you could add a daylight sensor that will turn them on and off automatically. That would be a fun wiring job.

Replaced my worn out auto locker in the rear of bruiser, now mini spooled. Found out how important a good diff cover is on the last trip. Wet rocks and a slipping rear makes for some extra throttle lol.
