My center counsel is out at the moment. I might take it out and then I'll mount a cb there when I get to the area of the build. I'm tryin to keep the interior as functional and sleek as possible.

A line lock goes in the brake line and acts like your brakes are held by keeping the pressure in the line. Usually used in drag cars for a burnout. They have front line lock so they hit the brake, engage line lock, release brake. Front tires are then locked, but rears spin freely.

Swapped out the old factory stereo with a modern DIN sized unit. Probably the easiest and fastest job I've done on the Jeep to-date. Bought a new fascia with a DIN size slot in it and a wiring adapter off eBay. Pulled off the wood effect trim from the dash either side of the steering wheel. Then unscrewed and removed the cowl from around the instruments. Took out the screw and the nut holding the factory stereo in and slid it out. Unplugged the two connectors at the back of the stereo along with the antenna plug, the earth connector and plug for the CD auto changer. Fitted the new stereo into the DIN fascia and connected the wiring adapter to the old plugs which is color coded one grey one black so you cant get it wrong. Plugged the connectors on the other end of the wiring adapter in to the new stereo along with the antenna plug. Inserted the whole thing back into the dash and secured with the screw and nut I removed from the old stereo. Then I refitted the cowl and the wood trim. Total time 15 minutes but I stayed in the car for 2 hours listening to the richer sound and bass coming from the new stereo.

i'm gonna tackle some electrical problems today:

1) no air from dash vents
2) no interior lights. none.
3) no heated seats.
4) no rear windshield wiper.

i don't really know where to start. just gonna take the dash off and see what happens. i'll be posting pretty frequently on here today.

i contacted koreazj about some diagrams. (and i don't even know exactly what i need) and if anyone else also has any diagrams associated associated with those problems (and the fuses associated with them), it would be so much appreciated.

No air from dash vents could most likely be a vacuum leak

I'm not sure if this is the case for most heated seats, but a couple of summers ago mine wouldn't work. I peeled back the front of the leather seat cover and found that some of the wires had become frayed and disconnected, so i re-attached them and used some heat shrink to keep them together. Not too difficult of a job to tackle.
