Drove it. Got it pretty dusty, then my children immediately put their hand prints in the dust. So much for looking tough, haha. On a slightly more serious note, I got the cd changer that the PO installed to work. Turns out it was manufactured in february 95, so it's actually older than the jeep, haha. I forgot the pains of washboard roads and older cd players, made me giggle a little when I hit some washboards, thought a wire came loose or something on the changer, then remembered, oh yeah, they skip when ya do that.

A few not so good discoveries I made today... Needs a passenger side ball joint. The axle side of the track bar is ovaled out. Theres a nice clean crack in the manifold. And I need drivers side motor mount! Frickin great! Lol

Bummer but look on the bright side you get to spend more hands on time with your ZJ. That makes it all worth it.

What a **** day!!! Drove six hours to Gilbert, trail rode for about an hour, took a pretty nasty trail that took out my rear rocker, dropped a coil, then air locked the cooling system resulting in 250 on the gauge. It made a pop, then ran on 4 cylinders at 250-260 all the way out of the park. Hoping I have a computer limp mode, if not, spare engine time. This sucks, I have a mud drag next weekend.

Tested the 90AMP alternator and it failed, so in goes a 120AMP. Voltage issues solved and the gauges no longer flicker(I already did the switch repair but it didn't help when the alt was bad).

Damn happy camper right now. So I'm ceasing the moment and having a cold one.

I was up there last weekend. Slashed a tire(only ~5k on it) unbeaded another, blew up a cv joint, shredded the ring gear up front, dented the xmember and trans pan.

This was all on lower money talks Its a really fun place though

Couldn't beat the camp site either

I think I'll be getting the rc long arm upgrade and some 3.5" springs to put under my spacers to fix numerous problems
Good thing I can use my financial aid to do auto repairs!!
