Didn't get much done because of the weather, but I needed to replace the 1 7/8 ball on the hitch with a 2". Discovered that whoever put the old one on put a 5/8" bolt ball on a tongue that required a 3/4" bolt. The number of idiotic things that have been done to this poor jeep is approaching astronomical proportions. It's recovering from the abuse quite nicely though.

Went down to the auto parts store for some power steering fluid and on the way back found myself in that position where you are maybe going to fast to stop but the light turns yellow so you either slam the brakes or gun it. Well I just repaired the plenum the other day and when I pressed the pedal how I am used to pressing it to get going a certain speed the truck went a whole lot faster than what I was used to. I actually got some butterflies in my stomach because I was not expecting that. I have had this thing for over a year and didn't know what I had been missing in the power dept for the 5.9. Do the plenum repair ASAP. It's like having a new motor. It's a monster.

Also no more pinging. It's nice to hit the pedal and not hear that rattle.
