Get a piece of wire or paperclip and pull the compressor relay. Stick the wire or paperclip in there and jump the clutch. If it spins then it still works. Don't let it run long though if it;s dry it could hurt it. Re attach the r34a and jump the clutch again. It will suck it in this time. Keep checking the psi. The clutch should start cycling when there is enough refrigerant in the line. Keep in mind after all this you may just have a leak.

Thanks polka will try that. I know I have a leak. I put AC pro in back in June and it has run just fine until a couple of days ago when we had another mini heatwave.

Remove the wheels, remove the centercaps, degrease with Purple Power and a Scotch-brite pad, Acetone and a towel, tape off tires and valve stem, 3-4 coats 10 minutes apart.

I really like mine. So far it's my favorite mod. It changes the entire look of the jeep. It's been almost 2 months and it's holding up well. If it scratches, just clean and hit the spot with a little more Plastidip. I haven't gotten any yet though.

Thanks for the help. My rims are chipped/ bubbly, will the plastidip stick to an uneven surface?

Depends on how bad. The stuff is pretty impressive. I screwed up and had a run on mine and it just leveled itself out. Mine had lots of scratches and chips on it but it still worked out pretty well

Replaced the battery under warranty, 4 months left under warranty now. And new terminals/copper lugs. Much better contact.

Go back to AZ and tell them you want to upgrade. Pay the difference for an optima or a Duralast platinum. And you get new warranty....I do this all the time....

wow lots of battery stuff lately

on topic i installed a new pos battery terminal

took off the belt to see if that stopped the mystery noise it did

re replaced the tensioner thinking it would help it didn't

broke the coil clip trying to bend the bracket because the coil screws were rusted

20 mins later the screws were 99%stripped but off the bracket

replaced screws with nut and bolts because i never want to do that again

BONUS;got a free coil from the parts store guy's spare stash, cuz hes a jeeper hes got hopped up 5.2 that goes 13.0 off bottle

DOUBLE BONUS;the new coil made the all ok/engine light go away , at first it was kinda scary not seeing that yellow burden
