put on a new door, and off topic but does anyone know why it could be idling at about 1500? it didn't start doing it until the other day when it wouldn't start and I checked under the hood and my negative battery cable was loose, tightened of, started it, and now high idle ever since ?

Thursday after I get paid im getting a new head light and oil pressure sending unit. Change the oil and filter when I change that. Going to ship back my LEDs because I ordered the wrong ones. Then probably going to order a rubicon express 2in bb with there twin tube shocks.

ok, I have to make up for lost time (posts) fixing up my $500 GC laredo
Last Mon: replace the left front hub assembly and lug nuts

Last Sat: replace the right front hub assembly, lug nuts, and right front U-joint bearings

Yesterday: adjusted the transfer case shifter so it actually can shift through all modes and shows correctly on the bezel, adjusted the Parking cable, glued the
main shifter bezel back together (former owner reduced it to it's component pieces for some reason).

Today: replaced center console light bulbs, re-installed console correctly as opposed to how I found it. replaced bulbs in the graphic display center, taped up the stripped and loose wires from the back of the JVC stereo, and remounted the center bezel correctly after straightening out the metal tabs that the last owner bent flat. re-attached the antenna cable connection in the passenger foot well (radio!).

Todo List: exhaust including replacing the (removed) Cat. new shocks, new tires, new lug nuts for the back wheels, new brakes, fix the E-brake, find and repair the vacuum leak under the hood, fix vent doors not staying put (air shifts to defroster under acceleration).

Just a few things. Good thing I like doing this.

x2 to the above statement. Its a lack of vaccum that is changing your modes. This is basically a safety feature that manufactures design so if you lose engine vaccum you will still be able to see out your windshield in the winter.

Found out I have a dead cell(s) in my brand new yellow top battery.. Last time I worked on it, I discoed the battery.. Started raining, forgot to fully tighten down the neg. Term and I guess all the arching killed it..gonna try and get a new one Tomorrow. On a good note, I ordered rebuilt 703 injectors off ebay.

Edit: damn rookie mistake.

Still leaking coolant even after the recent repairs... Its only when its parked on an incline so maybe its just stuff that didn't make it to the pan when it was drained... Then again its a Jeep so probably not.
