Okay, today I got around to fixing two things, the front left factory fitted mud flap had fallen off in the driveway, fortunately so I could find it again. I also fixed the catch on the armrest /storage box as the release lever was just flapping around and the cup holder was just rattling around and annoying me. First I lifted the arm rest then took out the three screws from the hinge. Then I pulled the armrest away from the hinge and took it into the garage and took out the remaining screws holding it together. It was pretty simple to figure out and put together again. The springs had slipped out of place and lay in the bottom of the tray. I just put everything back in place then screwed it back together then fitted it back on the hinge. The mud flap was also easy to fix I just knocked out the old rusty screws from the mudflap with my trusty est-wing hammer then opened up the holes in the fender with a cordless drill. Then I found some suitable nuts bolts and washers in my "it will come in handy box " and it's good as new.

Oh and who the hell at Chrysler designed a cup holder to come out the back of an hinged armrest. I've lost count how many times my kids have put their open cans of Pepsi in the rear cup holder then I've lifted the armrest to get my phone charger and spilled Pepsi into the rear carpet.

The cover shouldn't open too easily if the rear cup holders are out. There is a lockout on that. If you pull up hard enough it'll open but you risk breaking it. I read about it in the manual and figured I'd give it a shot. Mine still works.

Is your abs module unplugged? My light was on for quote some time. Plugged back in and it went off.

OK Chrysler all is forgiven, for now that is. That explains it, because the springs fell out the interlock stopped working allowing the armrest to tilt while the cup holders where out.

Previous owner had lift done. He said it was 4" but I measured 6" front and 5.5" back.
