I actually just bought a piece of aluminum sheet to make the bracket for my power outlet. Might play around with that as well. The way I see it in my head the final product is going to be maybe 16ga steel just so it is stiff

Anyone know where I could tap into for a switched 12v source in the zj? For my power splitter.

Found out the Jeep I bought had set in this guys field for 2 years, not running. I replaced the computer last week and fuel pump today. Started right up, after some coaxing, and as strong as my old 94 was. Took the wife for a test drive. She loves it just as much as I do now. Painting my 2 front wheels in the AM to match my rears and wiring in my overhead KCs and my fogs.

I'm running a power distribution block straight from the battery on a master fuse with individual fuses for each accessory. Definitely use 16 gauge or thicker. Anything thinner makes the switches feel cheap.

I ordered kicker DS60's from Crutchfield and they sound great and came with mounting brackets, screws, instructions, etc.

Ran to the store to get some gaskets, fluids, and filters for y sister's caravan. Ordered a new oil pan since jiffy line cross threaded the drain plug. Haven't driven it in nearly two weeks since we took the scion to the Grand Canyon.

I'm going to test the power wires for the power outlet. Dosnt work. I'm hoping that it is te plug and there is still power going to it. If not I will find something else to splice into

I changed the 5.2s oil/filter and tightened up the oil pan in hopes of stopping it from leaking around the front of the crank. Also re-charged the AC.

I think I got hit in the eye with an ice cube.

I went out and bought a rear receiver tow hook and put it in..

Also, as for a rear receiver goes, should I get a standard 2" drop or a 3.25" drop? My Jeep has a 2" BB lift on 31's.
