Anyone know how to get the center counsel out. Mainly the shift knob.

On my 95 you just grabbed the shift knob with both hands and pulled straight up hard. It pops right off. Be careful though. I hit my head on the roof pretty hard when it came off and I read about another guy breaking hit front window.

I got it. Since my seats are out I climb in there. Stand up. Shift it into first gear. It's off of course. Pull. And pop. Fall flat on my a** in the jeep. I'm on the phone with my girlfriend at the time and she thought it was the funniest thing.

Decided that my little power splitter from Walmart would find its way right there. Plenty of space in the back. Going to pop the faceplate off and see if I can make a bracket to squeeze the plastic with.

Just clean it with soapy water. I used scotch bright on the avalanche and now I can see the scratches.

Mocked up a prototype. The final one will either be out of thicker aluminum or 16 gauge steel. I just painted it gloss black but I don't like the color. I only put in one toggle switch for the test fit. I'm glad to finally find an actual use for the VIC

The switches will be for:

1. Fan kill
2 Front lights (on bumper)
3. Overhead lights
4. Rock lights
5. Rear lights
