Why? Put a 15 mm wrench on the tensioner, give it a crank, and off comes the belt? Its a 5 min job, tops.

It really is quite simple, helps to have a hand sometimes though.

Once my tensioner pulley gave out, bearings rattling around. It sounded like I had a knock in my engine, the noise was atrocious. Next morning, i had to be at work in about an hour, stopped by the local sears and asked them to listen to it and diagnose it. While I was watching, the mechanic removes the serpentine belt and starts the engine, noise gone. I about crapped myself. Asks if I want him to replace it, shrug my shoulders in stupidity and tell him yes. He calls up NAPA and had the part delivered. $80 later, I had a new tensioner pulley and was kicking myself in the butt the rest of the day. One of the only times I've taken my Jeep to a mechanic.

Well changed the u joints yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised that it solved all of my vibration issues. I was however bummed out when they started coming back on my drive home last night. Back at square one, just gotta figure out what caused the joints to go bad in the first place, I thought it was because the had never been changed before.

Tighten the bolts on the member before installing, not after.

Re-did my whole exhaust system from the header collector all the way to the tip. The exhaust is now 2.5".

I added a MagnaFlow cat, Magnaflow muffler and MagnaFlow tip

Coming of the header collector

Isn't there something written in the FAQ that requires a video sample to be uploaded to the forum when there are changes to the exhaust system?
