I'll be removing my malfunctionning VIC today, to put a cd changer for my blaupunkt in place. Old GPS radio, but I like it, it's simple and very effective. I might begin my front bumper as well. I'm still waiting for the boat vents to arrive, they should look great on the hood. Saw a TJ with the same vents, I fell in love. BTW, I did it months ago, but I strongly recommend the E-fan mod with a Contour fan. Paid about $100 at Summit for it, no overheating even when real hot outside, quiet as well, the difference is astounding, no more turbine noise when revving the engine.

Anyone knows about the 249 output shaft on a 242 ? Thanks !

On a 96+ the 242 will swap right in.

Pulled out of the driveway today just to see a rugby ball sized puddle of trans fluid... Drove it to work out anyway, and it drove fine. Hopefully it will make it home to find the leak.

Was bored, so I decided to finish tearing apart my 8.8. Suprisingly, the fluid looked pretty clean. And the gears inside look flawless. Wrapped the ends in plastic to prevent the insides from rusting, because who knows the next time I'll be working on it. Also painted the ****ty stock diff cover just so I don't have to put my solid cover on there and get it all dirty after spending all that time painting it.

Changed engine oil, replaced the milk in both difs, replaced a/c compressor, then gave it a bath. Should be ready for iro costumer appreciation in Gilbert. Also ordered can am bellows to solve my water problem hopefully. Replacing my vents with these.

Let me tell you what I did not ZJ's today

93- Did not get it state inspected went to a bunch of shops with a picture of it asking if they would inspect it they all said "NO, they like there job"

niner- Did not get the rear swaybar back on cuz of a broken bolt in the unibody

94- did not even see it today

did however see this local niner following me around

Pb blasted all the bolts for seats. Hit them in the mornig again before school and I'm getting a half in impact from my boss to Barrow till I get new seats. Gould be sunday. Can't wait for cloth and to be able to move my seats again

Seen a local lifted ZJ today. Purple in color, brush bar etc. Right around 430pm on Whitnall parkway. You on here bud? If so nice jeep!

i installed a 720 watt amp 12 inch sub and a high to low level converter

infinty gold cd cassette player and signal modulator for mp3

it sounds good(loud as hell) and looks sleeper stock

You and I have the same mouse . Logitech LX7, right?

On topic, last night I swapped a 99+ intake manifold, header, and driver side engine mount with todd4198 on his ZJ. We didn't get the job completely finished, but everything just needs to be torqued back down, 703s put on the fuel rail, and then hook up all the vacuum lines and electrical connectors for all the sensors and it's done.

Actually no. I stole that photo online. I ordered them yesterday, so I haven't put my hands on them yet.
