wet driver's side floor board

I've been noticing that the floor is wet under the driver's floor mat. Weather stripping appears to be in good condition. Is there any chance it would be related to a sunroof leak? I haven't noticed dampness anywhere else. Is this a known problem?

It's likely the AC, Check the FAQ.

if it was the passengers i would say it is the very common ac leak. the only time i got water on mine was when i tried to fish tail around a corner and it came spilling over the side or something. usually it will be wet on the passenger floor board. check there under the carpet and then check back.

Ah, just noticed he said drivers side, not passengers.

yep, that's what has me perplexed. It's only the driver's floor board. None of the others are wet...

I've only noticed it a few times, after being parked outside for a while. I'll wash it tomorrow and see if I can detect any leaks around the windshield...

I don't know if it's the same but after my wife rear-ended someone in my old ZJ, the door was misaligned enough that I had the very same problem, moisture on the driver's side floor mat. The seals looked fine but the door just did not close tight enough on them to keep the rain out 100%.

I had a GC do the same thing, and it was the grommet where the wires from the door entered the door piller. I sealed it inside and out with silicone. Get inside and have someone flood the windshield with a garden hose, look under the dash and you should see where its coming from.
