So weld it and truss it and it should hold up OK? First things first, I need to finish dissecting this 2002 Ram drivetrain and stuff the 5.9 in my Jeep! I am assuming that the axle on the floor also out of the Ram is no good for my Jeep or should I be rethinking this?

the axle it wont be a direct bolt in. you could probably make it work if you wanted but it is probably 6 or so inches wider than the stock axles in a ZJ
