weird pop from LF, i can feel it thru the floorboard

I have ZERO idea what it is? do you guys have any ideas? i will take a corner, crank the steering wheel maybe a 1/4 turn and most of the time it pops, sometimes its more noticable than others, but it really seems like a suspension issue, maybe LCA? only happens when i turn, the LCA's have brand new bushings in them, so maybe its the threaded ADJ portion of the LCA? i heard of the track bar mounting holes "rounding out" could this make that noise? Thanks for the help guys..

It could be the track bar at the axle. Mine made the same popping noise, and that's what it ended up being.

Mine does that... sort of a clunk/pop sound out of the front passenger side. It does it when I go from a stop either in forward or reverse. Sometimes turning too. I've had the entire front checked out... my track bar, ball joints, tie rods, and bushings are all new. I don't have sway bars... I have NO idea what it is!!

The only thing that comes to mind is if you had struts in the front, the upper strut mounting plate and bearing will make a "popping" noise on turns. I'm a BMW person as well as once being the Washington Zone Chrysler's Technical Representative encompassing Maryland, DC and Virginia. Should any of you run into a "popping" noise on ANY strut assembly, I had a trick, so to speak, whereby I turned the upper most plate (under the hood) upside down and "peened" it with a ball peen hammer and never had a come-back in peening a strut mount that pops only on turns.

The other avenue to explore with the popping noise on turns could be a frozen brake caliper or one of the axle shafts (with all the break in mileage you've accumulated) could have settled. Call the "Stealership" and get the exact lengths of your front drive axles and if they're shorter or out of specs, they sell axle shafts that make up for the wear or break-in in the front end.

Take this with a grain of salt (the aforementioned of what I stated above), but it may help insofar as also checking all your motor mounts as well. I caught that only once (broken motor mount), but everything I've stated, you can "Rule-Out" very quickly.

it's gotta be something loose in there. trust me, you'll hear it when you're under there not moving. if you don't, cv shaft.

I had a grade 8 washer welded on the bracket to repair the wobbled out hole.

its simpler than you think. worn upper track bar balljoint. or the balljoint (at the pitman arm) on the drag link.

This is often shock to axle contact. Check to see if the lower shock mounts are coming in contact with the axle. Look for worn away paint on the shock loop. Bar pin eliminators would solve this.

Double check the track bar torque and mounting holes, along with all the sway bar link parts.
