water pump problems

hey, im stuck. I have a 96 grand cherokee laredo 5.2. Recently the water pump went out, engine was running perfect till this. I replaced ther water pump, thermostat, and coolant temperature sensor. However, engine now runs rough and wants to stall. Also getting code 43 on the check engine light. coolant system seems to be working fine though. Now I also seem to be having electrical system problems, as my battery keeps dying(battey and alternator checked out fine). anybody have any ideas?

Maybe battery cables, they tend to corrode near the terminals. Maybe ground connection? check all the sensors and vacuum hoses in the area where the work was done.

Mil code with check engine light is misfire in cylinder #5, or #6 or #7 or #8. Take it by auto zone and have them put the scan tool on it
Scan tool
code
P0305 Cylinder #5,
P0306 Cylinder #6
P0307 Cylinder #7
P0308 Cylinder #8

Maybe a bad or loose spark plug wire.

Something is wrong in the ignition circuit. Before checking anything make sure the cables and battery are fine.
