want my jeep to sit higher like overlands....

i have an '02 onyx green jeep grand cherokee limited w/the optional chrome 5 spoke rims. i LOVE it to death..its fully loaded w/everything EXCEPT the off road/upcountry package. i have the towing package....but i dont have the chrome towhooks in the front (id like to get them), i don thave the skidplates underneath, and i dont have the springs/shocks to make it sit really aggressive like the overlands. I just want that aggressive stance....so i went the jeep dealer and they said i need to get a vin # off someone that has the off road package on their overland just so i can get the breakdown on priecs to buy everything individually. i DONT want the rock guards though...but id love the towhooks, and the suspension(shocks/springs) for mine. can anyone direct me the best place to get the towhooks in CHROME, the off road package (springs/shocks) to make it sit higher, at the BEST price? or give me a vin i can take to my dealer? thanks in advance, any help is appreciated!!

- Christian

Why not go back to the dealer find one on the lot and get that vin number?

Just get some coil spacers.

And since you're doing it for looks, you don't even need shocks.

You can find most all the part numbers you need on wjjeeps.com but it seems to be down right now.

And jparts.com has the towhooks probably cheaper than yor dealer and right now shipping is free on 75 bucks or more.

Youd be better going with a 2"bb with shocks or the ome shocks and springs. you will get more lift out of them. the upcountry only gives you about an inch or so. Kevinsjeepparts.com has some info for you also.

i just love how the overlands sit and other limiteds that came w/the up country offroad suspension...im not HUGE into off roading, but once in a while. i do a lot of around town and highway driving...and the ride comfort will still matter to me...thats why the overland/upcounty suspesion i think would be best for me. thanks for your advice though.....

The OME 2" suspension lift will probably ride and handle better than stock Overland springs.
