A proper alignment most likely. Find a shop that works on lifted trucks.

Is there a lot of play in the steering wheel? Mine wanders because I need a new gearbox.

Do you have new track bar? An alignment is needed you didn't mention if you got one after the lift.

Just to clarify things a bit: When you lifted the vehicle, did you re-align the front wheels or correct the pinion angle on the front axle?

I can think of two immediate reasons to align:

1. The stock ZJ steering is two bars forming a Y (can't remember what they're called right now.) If you did not adjust them after a lift, you will need to since lifting the vehicle will essentially toe in your front tires - which in turn will cause all sorts of odd steering issues.

2. When lifting, the front pinion angle increases. This causes your steering knuckles (what the "y" ties into) to become off camber, and this can also cause all sorts of steering and wobble issues.
