Valve cover/rockers on LH bank much "drier"

Strange one...had to ask: (5.2 ZJ!)

Pulled the valve covers and the LH bank rockers were significantly drier than the RH bank! Top of the covers were the same way.

Does it have something to do with the PVC / EGR (internal on the '98 apparently...)????

Not quite sure what you mean. There is no EGR on a 98. The PCV is on the right and there is a breather on the left.

You could start her up without the valve covers and verify you're getting oil to all the rockers. Do it quick before the fire department gets called.
