Dude idk what the torque specs are, but that thing sucks to change!
Be sure you get a new pcv elbow(I think thats what its called) b/c you must take the old one off to clear the back of the engine bay. When putting it back on it is VERY hard to keep the gasket lined up. I found it best to put some rtv around the pan to hold the gasket in place. Ohh, Im sure the torque is very low, its a cork gasket. |

Jeepjeepster you are correct those things suck to replace, had such a hard time pulling the valve cover off, throttle cables, hoses, etc right over top. Luckily a friend stopped by and helped me guide it back in. And for the torque specs, I called the local Crysler dealer here in St. Pete Florida, talked to a mechanic and he said to just tighten the bolts manually, if the gasket starts pushing out its too tight. Anyway after completing that, i refilled with oil, cranked her up and i hear this ticking sound. Come to find out its one of my pulleys, so now I have to take the belts off and find the pulley that is causing the noise. I am sure the one that is screwed will have play in it. Anyone ever had this problem, if so how much of a pain was it to fix :if you did it yourself: ?
