Vacuum line frome the engine to the firewall.

Can someone tell me where is the vacuum that goes from the engine compartment to the firewall into the cabin and how to access it? Do I need to remove a bunch of parts before getting to it. I am trying to see if the lines were put back on when the transmission was serviced or if they had been accidentally been bumped off or something.

I hope this is not a dumb question.
