It probably means someone has bypassed the evap canister

Is there another line coming off the purge solenoid that is blocked off?

After further review, plug that line up to the boot on the purge solenoid.

When the purge solenoid cycles, there should be vacuum there, When it's running, the purge solenoid should click after you've been cruising for a while.

So there is suction from the side that has the purge solenoid but not from the other side?

vacuum is created by the intake manifold. the purge solenoid meters it to pull fuel vapors out of the tank towards the engine through the canister.

I'll keep it simple. The solenoid sucks on that hose you have in your hand. No vaccum lines run arcoss front of vehicle.

Under the battery box.

Thats the line to the vacuum reservoir... just a box full of vacuum.

Well i made a diy smoke vacuum tester today and found out that my throttle body gasket is leaking very bad but would that cause a 6-7 inch of pressure drop in my vacuum pressure? Getting new gasket tomorrow
