Using car audio block as accessories distribution block?

as the title says.
i dont see any downsides and i have several of these(pic) laying around that will accept 1/0 power cable, and then of course you can use the proper fuse for the particular accesorie light,CB,air compressor.etc......
any thoughts? Sqauzz's mess under the hood inspired me

I don't see why not. Current is Amps and if they're rated at the amperage you fuse them for nothing should go bad. Just make sure that they are compatible with copper wire.

thanks for the response, i thought it was a pretty good and cheap idea as they only cost $7-$9 for really nice ones with waterproof housings.

going to be difficult getting agu fuses in the proper sizes for the downstream equipment. other than that, not a problem.
