USA Alloy Axle Tube Seal issues

Has anyone come across this problem when installing Axle Tube Seals on their Grand Cherokee? I took a look at the directions and all for the axle tube seals I got that are from USA Alloy - and then I took a look at the end of the inner axle shaft on my Dana 30 - There seems to be a stub or crown on the end of the axle shaft that extends for about 2 inches. - this makes it impossible to install the axle tube seal as the end by the "ears" part for the U-Joint has a thick base/crown/stub where it connects to the shaft. Is this just a Grand Cherokee thing? I will most certainly have to return these seals as there is no room there to install them with this stub on the end of the axle shaft (and I am not referring to the plastic cap thingy either)
