upper control arm bushings

'96 ZJ, just replaced the bottom control arm bushings, they were pretty severley cracked. When I removed the upper control arms, the bushings look good, no cracks at all, so I am thinking of leaving them alone, since removing the bushings from the front axle is a pain. Is it normal for most of the wear to be on the lower bushings?

Generally speaking , yes . 2 bushings in specific , the 2 axle side lower bushings are the worst . The only upper one that could be an issue is the pass frame side , due to it's close proximity to the exhaust . I only replaced the lower front arm bushings on my latest jeep .
