Upcoming Mods!!

Ok, got some $$ and I am gonna spend it on my ZJ

I am going to buy:

kevins front track bar conversion
Rear Track Bar bracket
OME 1" Springs
JKS Quick Disconnects

Heres my questions...

Since I have a BB and the springs will get me to 3-3.5" of total lift, do I need to get extended F brake lines? If so, how much are they?

Do I need to purchase extended rear sway bar end links?

I would get brake lines if you want to flex your fornt axle. I got mine from jeepin outfitters http://www.jeepinoutfitters.com/scri...?idproduct=119
22" long $69 and free shipping. I would also get rear end links. They aren't to much$$.
Hey man do you think you can make it to JF run II in october?

Yeah, I've heard you can run YJ brake lines too. I have the stainless ones I ordered from Kolak. They are the ones that RE sells, but made by Russel.

You will love Kev's TB conversion

it turns out the extended rear sway bar links are $30 from Kevins. not bad.

Still unsure if $70 for stainless front brake lines is do-able right now. maybe i'll go to the junkyard and price used YJ front brake lines, or go to autozone to see how much they are there...

trying to decide on if i need a upgraded tie-rod. $99 (rusty's). i'd buy one from kevin, but haven't seen one that he makes. mine is slightly bent upwards, and i think it is supposed to be straight. i'll post pics after lunch.

so far the list is:

Kevins TB Conversion $270
Rear TB Bracket $64 (RE) - maybe kevin has a cheaper one
Extended Rear Sway Links $30
JKS Quick Disco's $FREE
OME 1" Lift Springs $100

Jason,
I think $70 including shipp. is pretty good price but YJ's would do it as well. Tell me more about that PA run.
r u taking your jeep?

yup, gonna take it. believe it or not, I love to wheel my ZJ, except it is the only suv we have in my family and I can't have it break. My wife would wind up needing it the day after something broke... That is why i am reluctant to bring it to paragon again - even though i had no issues last time i went.

once i get the added height and stuff that goes with it (2 weeks ) i will start to fab up some rock rails. after i get them on and scavange up some OEM armor i will feel more secure in knowing my ZJ will walk away from most of the obstacles I am willing to negotiate at paragon (greens & blues).

So, for right now i am just gonna go to PA, maybe the Pines. My family in VA told me there are real good spots to wheel in D.C. - so maybe I'll convince you and phil to go down there with me one weekend to check it out...

here is info for the PA run...
