good write up, too many wires though, you have 4 lights, each do what, 5 amps? that's 20amps max you'll need, one pair of 10-8ga wire would have worked, then ran them parralel or however you spell..
otherwise you have alot of wasted energy, plus the speaker cable isn't ment to have that much amps being pulled through and can get hot/melt the soft insulation. other than those, good write up with pics ![]()

You ran one paired wire for each lamp?
Are they all on one switch? Even if the front and back are separate you still needed no more than 3 single conductor wires. 2 hots and 1 ground. And you used speaker wire! Good god. |

that speaker wire is just temporary. I had ordered some actual power wire but turns out the place is out of stock. So im thinking i may go 10 guage wire from the battery to a distribution block but i cant find one that it that high of guage. Only 4 guage to 8 guage and i think 8 guage would be too much for the lights
