UC springs installed - not happy with the front

I picked up a set of UC springs a couple of weeks ago from a local U Pull It ($36 for all 4) and installed them over the weekend. I'm trying to get this thing legal so I can finally drive it.

I measured before and after and got a little over an inch out of the rear, but the front is exactly the same!

Must have got a pair that were sagging pretty good but could not tell because the donor ZJ was already up on stands and the wheels were long gone (along with the front LS and the tow hooks). The skid plates where still there, but I couldn't get them out because the nutserts were turning in the frame.

I went back with more tools a couple of days later and they already crushed it.

I put all new brakes on it while I had it apart, and everything went good except for the front calipers. After a quick trip around the block (or two) my front brakes got pretty hot and I could smell the new pads burning. I'm guessing that it's going to need calipers too. It's been sitting since June, and I'll bet they are pitted and sticking.

i dont know if there was a difference between the UC I6 or v8 springs but that could account for it maybe.

They are both 5.2L ZJ's.
