U Connect and IPod connection

Due to a large amount of travel/commute/leisure time in my 04 WJ Limited, I am considering putting in the U Connect and am interested in adding an IPod connection (hard wired). Can the dealer/I add this stuff now? Would this be insanely expensive? The stereo I have is the Nav Radio (which I hate, but am forced to rely upon). Thanks in advance!

If you have the RB1 several companies plus Jeep have an ipod adapter, very easy to install in line with the changer. The Uconnnect system is seperate from the audio system with it's own speaker and surface mount interface, and will only mute the RB1. If you have the RB4 things are different - less ipod integration, but Uconnect is more integrated with it. Full information is on www.wjjeeps.com
