Tune up procedures advice

So, I have decided to start getting some stuff done to tune up the Jeep before I start using it for work again in a couple of weeks.

I went and picked up my cooper plus plugs and I grabbed a champion cap and rotor and some wires.

Then I thought, do I actually need to do those yet and what is the determining factor. My Jeep runs great and smooth as it is.

When should you changed the wires and cap? And when you do, which onces should a person get? Do you still continue with Champion or do you start to switch it up to NGK. Right now the wires are Mopar and I have never changed them so I have no clue how long they have been in there but they look and act great.

I plan to do the diffs, oil, tranny, rad fluid changes. Am I missing anything else?

I changed my plugs last year at this time. It was about 36,000 KM ago but I have noticed a recent lack of booyeah when I get on the skinny pedal.

Are the wires date coded? They might be original. Mine were. I'd change everything, cap rotor wires plugs etc.

I will have to check to see if they are. What did you replace yours with?

I replaced mine with champion coppers and they work just fine although I changed them along with an MSD coil and MSD wires. Also consider changing out the fluid from within your transfer case.
