Tube at rear of Intake manifold?

I'm trying to get this manfold off and can't do it because of this tube. I have a 96 Grand Cherokee 5.2l. I suspect it's some sort of EGR tube since it comes from the pass side exhaust manifold. I can't reach it with a wrench--HELP!!

How is this thing removed?

its the egr, i just pulled an intake manifold from the junkyard for a spare to mod on the weekends. i put a wrench on it and it moved very slowly after about five minutes of trying. good luck!

When I changed my head gasket I had the same problem. Disconnect the egr from the left exhaust manifold and then weave it threw all the wires While still connected to the back of the intake manifold. Make sure to have the intake manifold side tight when putting it back together cause I put it the exhaust manifold side on first and I cant tighten it to the intake so it throws a code now for leaking....
Hope it help and I wasn't too late.

Here's what the egr looks like coming from the exhaust manifold. I couldn't get one for the intake side.
