Question for original owners. I found a list of TSB's on these GC's. Since I own one of these now. I'd like to know how many of you got a bulletin about all these problems and if you did anything about them? Just wondering the chances of my jeeps first owner taking care of all these TSB's. Thanks

Well, I don't own a 97 ZJ and I'm not the original owner of my ZJ, but I don't think the manufacturer has to alert owners about TSBs, just recalls. If you want to know about recalls, the dealer can check to see if there are any incomplete recalls for your vehicle. Actually, I think you can do it yourself through the Jeep website as well.

Remember too that many of these are for information only--there's no fix, it just acknowledges that owners have reported the problem, noise, etc. For example, the engine coolant one you have listed or the service manual updates.

The others do have an actual fix for them, but unless you are having a specific problem that relates to one of these TSBs, I wouldn't really worry about whether they've been done or not.

sorry to bring up an old thread. i noticed that there was a tsb for the heated seats failing. would i be able to go to the dealer and have this fixed on there dime even though i am not the original owner or am I sol?

someone told me you can do it within 10 years, doesnt matter you arent first owner, but it may vary from manufacturer
