Transmisson, Odd shifting?

Hey guys, As of late my WJ seems to have adopted the tendency to shift out of first at around 20 MPH if im goosing it, Then it shifts way early into second, giving me no power through it. My engine cranks at about 2700RPM when im trying to get my speed up to 60, I have to floor it mind you, and when I come to a complete stop I can feel it clunk back down into first.

I feel this is odd, since it just happened out of nowhere with no previous problems, and the instant it happened it threw the CEL. I took it to the shop and he says it may be electrical, even after a complete flush. So I'm asking for your guys' input. What could it be? Is my transmission dead? Or is it something else all together? Thanks in advance.
