Transmission overdrive and lockup solenoid

So today I replaced the governor pressure sensor and solenoid in my dads 98 4.0. Unfortunately I am running a 1762 code at the same time. My question is obviously i will replace both the solenoid and sensor to get mine in working order....but I was wondering is it possible to replace the transmission overdrive and lockup solenoid without removing the valve body while I'm in there for preventative maintenance? I was looking at the one in my dads jeep and it seems like there is 2 torx screws one on each side and one in the middle with a connector in the middle. I saw a youtube video however where they showed removing the valve body and pulling a harness through the outside of the transmission however. This pic is of the one in my dads 42re. I have the 5.9 and the 46re though.

Solenoids/harness are together. VB needs to come out.
