Transmission noise

I just bougth a 2001 Grand Cherokee Limited,
and a few hours after I took it from the dealer I noticed a really anoying noise that seemed to come from somewhere in the transmission as soon as the car reached speeds above 30mph. On the next day I took it to the dealer and the mechanic said it probably was the front diferencial, and that it must be tunned or changed.
Today I picked the car, after a week on the dealer, and the noise is still there but this time only at speeds near 50mph and 65mph, otherwise no noise.
Any ideas on this?

Best regards,
