transmission flushing

My 94 jgc has 142000 miles on it and my sisters 93 jgc has 162000. Our transmissions work fine but I was wondering would it be a good idea to have the transmissions flushed at these places that offer this service. Has anyone had this done and it actually causes problems or would this be good preventive maintenance? Thanks for any info.

My brother is a service manager at a jeep dealer and he recommended doing it on my 95. (he did it for me gratis ). It made a difference that i could feel...seemed to tighten up the shifts. I was happy with the results. They use the BG brand of chemicals.
