Transmission Fluid Question

I have a '99 Grand Cherokee with about 34,000 miles on it. Per the maint. schedule in the owners manual it is time to change the transmission fluid and filter. But, I have been told by two people at NAPA that the transmission fluid and filter on my Jeep is good for 100,000 miles. Which is correct? When should I change it? Thanks for you help.

I agree with Kess... you don't want to void your factory warranty. What the heck would some counter jerk at NAPA know about WJ maintenance schedules anyway? Does he own one?

The maintenance schedule also calls for changing the transfer case fluid and front/rear diff oil at the same 30K interval. If you aren't doing this yourself, bring plenty of money to your dealer... these service items don't come cheap.
